From that point the number does not move. The price quoted is the price paid, and nothing is added on the day.

How Long Is the House Out of Action?

Less time than most people budget for. Here is what the day actually looks like, start to finish.

The clean itself is a working visit, not a building site. We arrive in the window agreed, work room by room, and keep the rest of the house usable while we do.

Once we finish, the cleaned areas dry in around four hours, though it can range from one to twelve depending on the material and the airflow. Most homes are fully back to normal the same day.

Is It Safe for the Kids and the Dog?

A fair question, and usually the one the partner at home cares about most. The straight answer is yes, when it is done properly. Our products are WoolSafe approved, independently tested as safe for delicate fibres and for the people and pets living on them.

We spot test a hidden area before every clean, use products at the correct dilution, then rinse and extract them back out rather than leaving them soaking in the fibre.

On the day, the routine is simple: keep children and pets off the cleaned area until it is dry, usually around four hours, and let the air move. A freshly cleaned carpet is damp, not dangerous, the same as a freshly mopped floor.
