Picture it. The dinner party is going well, someone gestures with a full glass, and the red wine lands on the lounge carpet. For most homes that means a frantic scrub and a mark that never quite leaves. For Golden Club members, it means one message to us, and the panic ends there.

A call-out is a focused visit to treat one spot or spill, and Golden Club members have up to three a year included.
Message or call the moment it happens, get first-aid advice on the phone straight away, and we come out to treat that spot properly.

What Counts as an Emergency Spot Call-Out?
An emergency spot call-out is one of the quieter benefits of the Golden Club, and in our experience it is the one members end up most glad of. It is a focused visit to treat a specific spot or spill: one incident, in one place, dealt with properly. Membership includes up to three of these visits every year.
The spills we see most often are exactly the ones you would guess:
- The red wine at the dinner party, usually on the one carpet everyone can see
- The puppy accident on the cream carpet, treated properly so no odour lingers
- The dropped curry on the way to the table
- Knocked-over coffee, dropped make-up, a leaking pen, a child’s felt tip
If it happened suddenly, it landed in one place, and you want it dealt with before it settles in, that is a call-out. It is the difference between a bad five minutes and a permanent mark.

How to Use a Call-Out
There is no form to fill in and no case to argue. You get in touch, and we take it from there.
Message or call us the moment the spill happens. Tell us what went down and what it landed on: red wine on wool carpet is a different job to curry on a synthetic one, and knowing early lets us arrive with the right chemistry ready. A quick photo over WhatsApp helps more than any description.
You get first-aid advice on the phone straight away, before anyone has set foot in your home. Those first few minutes matter more than most people realise, and a spill blotted correctly is far easier to remove than one that has been scrubbed and soaked. Then we book the visit, and the spill stops being your problem.

First Aid Before We Arrive
Whatever the spill, the same first aid applies, and it is what we will talk you through on the phone. The golden rule: blot, never rub. Rubbing pushes the spill deeper into the fibre and can damage the pile, turning a removable spill into a permanent one.
What To Do
- Blot gently with a clean, dry white cloth
- Work from the outside of the spill inwards
- If anything, a little cold water, then blot again
What To Avoid
- Rubbing or scrubbing, it drives the spill deeper
- Hot water, which can set many spills into the fibre
- Shop-bought stain removers before we have seen it
Many shop-bought removers bleach or set the very spill you are trying to lift, and they leave residue in the fibre that makes our job harder. In our experience the spills that come out cleanest are the ones that were blotted, left alone, and reported early. Do less, tell us sooner.
A Spill Just Happened?
Members can message or call the moment it happens and we will talk you through it there and then. Considering the Golden Club? Ask us anything.
What Happens on the Visit
A call-out is short, focused, and methodical. Here is the sequence, every time.
IdentifyWe confirm what the spill is and what fibre it is sitting in, because the right treatment depends on both.
Spot TestWe test a hidden area first, the same as on every clean, so the treatment is safe for your carpet before it touches the spill.
TreatThe right chemistry for that specific spill, WoolSafe-approved, correctly diluted, then rinsed and extracted out.
DryWe control the moisture so the area dries quickly, usually within a few hours, and the room is yours again.

One straight note on expectations. Most fresh spills come out fully, and the earlier we hear about them the better the result.
A small number, usually ones that have been scrubbed, heated, or dosed with the wrong product before we arrive, can leave a faint trace even after proper treatment. If we think that is likely, we tell you before we start, not after.
What a Call-Out Is, and Is Not
We would rather be clear about this here than vague about it in your hallway. A call-out treats a spot. It is a rescue visit for one incident, not a clean of the whole room.
The full-room refresh is what the three light maintenance visits in your membership are for, and the two work together: the maintenance visits keep the whole home at the standard, and the call-outs deal with life’s accidents in between.
And if we arrive and the straight answer is that the area needs more than a spot treatment, perhaps the spill has spread further than it looked, or the surrounding carpet is due its maintenance visit anyway, we say so before doing anything, and you decide.
Members get 50% member price on any extra work, and nothing is ever added without your say-so. The price agreed is the price paid.
A call-out is a focused rescue for one spot or spill, up to three a year included in membership. It is not a full-room clean, and if something needs more, we tell you before we do it.
Never Panic About a Spill Again
This is the real value of the rescue promise, and it is hard to put a number on. Homes with children, dogs, and dinner guests do not stay spotless by accident, and the question is never whether something will get spilled.
It is what happens in the ten seconds afterwards. For most households that moment is a small crisis. For members, it is a message to us, and then it is handled.
Members tell us it changes how the house feels. The cream carpet stops being something to guard. The good rug goes back in the dining room. Nobody hovers over guests with a cloth. In our experience, that is what people are really joining for.
If you are considering the Golden Club, the shape of it is simple. It starts with a qualifying clean from £250 that brings your home up to the standard, then membership from £49 to £69 a month keeps it there: three light maintenance visits a year, up to three emergency spot call-outs, and 50% member price on any extra work, over a 12-month term.
Your exact plan is confirmed on the day, and members and non-members get the same work and the same guarantee.

Quick Answers
What counts as an emergency spot call-out?
A focused visit to treat a specific spot or spill: the red wine at the dinner party, a puppy accident on the cream carpet, the dropped curry. It covers one incident in one place. Golden Club members have up to three of these visits per year included in membership.
The wine went down on Saturday night. By the following week I genuinely could not tell you which room it happened in.
How many call-outs do Golden Club members get?
Up to three emergency spot call-outs per year are included in membership, alongside three light maintenance visits and 50% member price on any extra work.
Is a spot call-out the same as a full-room clean?
No. A call-out treats a specific spot or spill. The full-room refresh is what the three light maintenance visits in membership are for. If a spot turns out to need more than a call-out can frankly fix, we say so before doing anything.
What should I do while I wait for the visit?
Blot the spill with a clean, dry white cloth, working from the outside in. Never rub or scrub. If anything, use a little cold water, never hot. Then leave it alone. When you message or call, we talk you through first aid for that exact spill straight away.
